option b is correct .It follows the law of mutiple proportion.

amrita58: in co2 and Co mass of c is fixed and the o is in the ratio of 1:2
angle30: According to that option a is also correct then !?
amrita58: but it shows law of constant composition
pooja3339: yes , amrita u r right
pooja3339: a is not showing the property of mutiple proportion
angle30: Law of constanttt composition is what
amrita58: ok
amrita58: plz at least like my answer
pooja3339: if two or elements combine to form a compound then they will combine always and in every condition in the same ratio to forms the same compound
angle30: I liked it before ur saying ., u can chk it once

First we should know what is law of multiple
proportion
When the two elements combine to form two or more compounds then the ratio of the atomic mass of one of the element that combine with a fixed mass of other elements is a simple whole no. ratio
Now according to this option b is correct

Bye

angle30: Element combine with fixed mass of other element means !??
angle30: And why option a is not pssbl. Can u tell me
amrita58: in co2 and Co the mass of c is fixed and o combine in a ratio of 1:2
amrita58: and option a shows law of constant composition
amrita58: hope now it is clear
