let there are n terms.
given,
first term (a) = 5
last term (l) = 45
sum (s) = 400
we know that s = n/2(a + l)
400 = n/2(5 + 45)
400 = 50n/2
50n = 400 × 2
n = 8 × 2
n = 16
16th term = 45
a + (n - 1)d = n term
5 + (16 - 1)d =45
5 + 15d = 45
15d = 45 - 5
15d = 40
d = 40/15
d = 2.66

Answer:

HEY MATE!!!!

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER,

S=400

L =45

a =5

S =n/2(a+L)

400 = n/2 (5+45)

400*2= n*50

800=50*n

800/50 = n

n = 16

 L= 45

a16 = 45

a+15d= 45

5+15d = 45

15d = 45-5

15d = 40

d= 40/15

d=8/3
