Hello...Here is your answer...
x=31°[Vertically Opposite Angeles]
Now,we know x+z+[90(shown in the figure)]=180°[because all this angles lie on a straight line]
Therefore,x+z+90=180
31+z+90=180
z=180-90-31
z=59°=y[Vertically Opposite Angeles]

here x is vertically opposite angle of 31 hence x=31

y+31=90 (complementary angles)
y=59

z=y (v.o.a)
z=59
