answer :- No pure gold is not used to make gold jewellery. because pure gold is very soft and tend to break. therefore gold mixed with small parts of silver or copper is used in making jewellery. because of the softness of the pure gold(24 carat) it is not used for making jewelleries.

2. why must one purchase hall marked jewellery?
