  • 1/6 from America and Australia

To find :

  • The Fractions of  visitors from Asia.

Solution :

  • Fraction of Asia = 1-[Fraction of Europe + fraction of America and Australia]
  • Fraction of Asia = 1 - [ 90°/360°  +  1/6 ]
  • = 1 - [ 1/4 + 1/6 }
  • = 1 - 10/24
  • = 14/24 or 7/12

(b)

given that, the visitor from Australia is 110

  • visitors from America is twice that of Australia
  • ATQ,
  • x =  2 * 110 = 220 Visitors from America
  • Total number of visitor is 330 visitors from Australia and America

(c)

Given that, visitors from Europe is 495 and it occupied the 4th part of the pie chart

  • then ATQ,
  • ( 1/4 )x = 495
  • x = 1980 visitors in total (Ans.)
