Let assume that man has Rs x with him.

Thus,

\rm :\longmapsto\:Share \: of \: first\: son =  \: \dfrac{x}{8}

\rm :\longmapsto\:Share \: of \: second\: son =  \: \dfrac{x}{8}

So,

According to statement,

\rm :\longmapsto\:x - \dfrac{x}{ \: 2 \: }  - \dfrac{x}{ \: 8 \: }  - \dfrac{x}{ \: 8 \: }  \geqslant 600

\rm :\longmapsto\:\dfrac{8x - 4x - x - x}{ \: 8 \: }  \geqslant 600

\rm :\longmapsto\:\dfrac{8x - 6x}{ \: 8 \: }  \geqslant 600

\rm :\longmapsto\:\dfrac{2x}{ \: 8 \: }  \geqslant 600
