Perimeter of a semicircular having diameter D is = π × D

=>

π × D = 30 × 2

=>

D = 60/3.14

=>

D = 19.09cm

Perimeter of circle :-

 = 2 \: \pi \: r

For cemi circle :-

  = \frac{2\pi  r}{2}  \\

Here semi circle's perimeter is given :-

 = 30cm

Than,

30 =  \frac{2\pi r}{2}  \\ \\  30 = \pi r \\  \\ 30 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times r \\  \\  \frac{30 \times 7}{22}  = r \\ \\  r = 9.54cm \\  \\  \\  \\ d = 2r \\  \\  = 2 \times 9.54 = 19.09 = 19cm
