1) political parties raise various issues in front of people and make people aware about the faliures of the ruling government,

winning party run the government while losing parties plays an important role as opposition

2)lack of funds,suppression of winning parties over losing parties are some of the challenges faced by parties.

4) parties which take part in elections ND elect their leaders r political parties.

3) providing of funds or loans to parties by government so that they can easily take part in elections without taking the help of wealthy peoples,there should be some laws inside the parties to prevent intrnal conflicts

Some reforms to strengthen political parties are :

  • Law to regulate the internal affairs of political party like maintaining its member to follow its own constitution, to have independent authority , to act as a judge in case of partly dispute, to hold open elections to the highest post.
  • It should be mandatory for political parties to give one third tickets to women candidate. also there should be quota for women on the decision making bodies of the party.
  • There should be state funding of elections. the government should give money to party to support their election expenses in kind (petrol, paper, telephone, etc.)or in cash on the basis of votes secured by the party in the previous election.
  • The candidate should be educated, so that he/she can solve and understand people's problems. His previous record should be cleared . He should be honest and there should be no criminal case against him.
  • Citizens can Reform politics if they take part directly and join political parties. People can put pressure on political parties through petitions , publicity in media , agitations etc.

4) A political party is a group of people who come together to contest election and hold power in the government.
