Green Revolution is different from traditional revolution in a way that latter used old , conversational ways for farming . In traditional farming farmers used to plough or rear the land with the help of animals . They didn't used any sprays . They only rely upon fertilizers . The yield used to be very limited . In green revolution the new techniques are being used . Fertilizers are being used . Genetic engineering is being carried out in order to increase the yield . The insecticides and pesticides are used .
