a. Area = 25.37 cm²

=> l × b = 2537/100

=> 59/10 × b = 2537/100

=> b = 2537/100 × 10/59

=> b = 4.3

.°. b = 4.3 cm

b. 2(y - 1) = y - 10

=> 2y - 2 = y - 10

=> 2y - y = - 10 + 2

=> y = -8

.°. y = -8

c. 6% of 550m

= 6/100 × 550 m

= 33 m

d. Let,

the number of chocolates A will get be 2x

the number of chocolates B will get be 3x

the number of chocolates C will get be 5x

Therefore,

2x + 3x + 5x = 500

=> 10x = 500

=> x = 500/10

=> x = 50

.°. x = 50

Therefore,

the number of chocolates A will get = 100

the number of chocolates B will get = 150

the number of chocolates C will get = 250
