Answer:

Hi ...

Well,

We know that volume of 1 mole gas at NTP is 22.4 ltr.

So it's given,.(for one mole gas)

Volume = 22.4 L

Density of gas= 0.1784g/ltr.

So ,

Mass = density × Volume.

.= 0.1784 × 22.4

= 3.99616.

= 4 g(approx.)

So,

mass of Gas = 4g.

Hope it helped you!!

Given ⇒

Volume of the Nitrogen at N.T.P. (Normal Temperature and Pressure) = 22.4 liter.

We know, Nitrogen is the Diatomic gas,

∴ Molar Mass of the Nitrogen = 28 g/mole.

[∵ 14 × 2 = 28]

∵ Density = Mass/Volume

∴ Density = 28/22.4

  Density of the Nitrogen = 1.25 g/liter.

Hence, the Density of the Nitrogen at N.T.P. (Normal Temperature and Pressure) is 1.25 g/l.
