So, -3/8 ×8/5

LCM=6

Get 6 at both thd denominator's place.

1/2 ×3/3 = 3/6

1/3 × 2/2 = 2/6

Multiply them with 11;

(multiple with one no. more than the rational has to find )

3/6×11 =33/6

2/6 ×11= 22/6

Now, rational no. b/w 22/6 and 33/6 are;

23/6 , 24/6 ,25/6 ,26/6 ,27/6 ,28/6 ,29/6 ,30/6 ,31/6 and 32/6

These are the rational no. b/w 1/2 and 1/3.

Let the present age of Shobo be 6x.

So, his mother's age will be x.

After 5 yrs;

(6x+5)1/3 = x+5

6x+5 = (x+5)3

6x+5 = 3x+15

6x-3x = 15 -5

3x = 10

x=3.33 yrs or 4yrs

So, present age of Shobo is 4 yrs and his mother's age is 4×6= 24 yrs.
