Answer:

(a) The poet was fascinated by the snake’s appearance and felt grateful that the snake had showed up to drink water from the water trough. However, he recognized the snake as venomous due to its colouration, and decided to kill it, immediately regretting his actions.(b)In the final game, ‘Warzone’, Shultz was sitting in a jeep when a tank collided with it and sent Shultz flying, landing near a helicopter, where Michael managed to get him into the helicopter and flew away.(c) Caesar left 75 drachmas for every Roman and opened the gates of his private gardens and orchards near Tiber for everyone for the coming generations.(d) Jenkins’ magazine was the only one which printed John’s stories, providing him much needed money and also increasing the sale of the magazine, which is why John never wished to displease Jenkins.(e) The inscription on the pedestal of Ozymandias’ statue read — “My name is Ozymandias, king of kings, Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”, which is ironic, as nothing that the great king built had survived the test of time, and his boastfulness of being so great and legendary was now survived by crumbling stones and statues.
