(a) Louisa Mebbin is a person who loves to save money and hates to spend it.
She provides that much protection to it like how a sister protects her elder or younger sister.
It is a humorous way of describing Louisa Meddin's attitude towards money.
(b) Michael's father was intrigued by PCs and computers due to which he used to purchase each new product as soon as they are available in the market.
Truth to be told, he couldn't avoid any of the new devices or doohickeys that came into the market.
His dad was very much addicted with PCs, that he had a Pentium 150 MHz processor with 256 RAM, 1.2 GB hard circle drive, 16 CD ROM which could do anything for example play music, paint and so forth.
(c) The poet says the given verses because; though he was blessed with an opportunity of meeting with one of the rulers of life (snake), he missed it because of his carelessness and should now apologize for his very own absence of concern and his unimportant conduct with the snake.
(d) In the story “shady pot”, the character named Helen is a ghost.
She was making her appearance in front of the writer as bits and pieces because it is the manner how the ghost make their appearance in front of the human.
The actual motto of Helen to appear in front of the writer is to help him to come up with a ghost story.
