1 Quinton was able to marry the painter's daughter after completely convincing him and winning over his trust. He drew a fly on one of the panels in the painter's shop which left the painter awestruck and this finally led him giving the consent for the marriage of his daughter and Quinton.

2 Of course, independent thinking is a step towards adulthood. As a child, one is not able to make one's own decisions and one's thinking is always influenced and directed by adults. A child is so innocent that it is not able to distinguish between truth and imagination
