The farmer used to take Gulliver to many towns for many exhibition shows. He was used as a source of income by the farmer, his master. That resulted in the increase in his income. With it, master's (the farmer's) greed went on increasing. Such a hectic schedule left no time for Gulliver to take rest. His health started declining. That resulted in a near death like situation for him as he was almost reduced to a skeleton. On seeing his falling health and approaching death due to fatigue, his master, the farmer sold him to the queen, her Majesty. There also, everyone who attended her were delighted to see that 'tiny creature'. He fell on his knees and begged to kiss her Majesty's foot.

Gulliver became very friendly with the king of Brobdingnag. The king was very inquisitive. His mind was filled with many doubts. So, Gulliver told him many things about his country—the people, the system of his land but the king did not find them valuable. Gulliver was bent upon making the king happy before leaving Brobdingnag. To thank the king for his hospitality, Gulliver offered him the receipe of gun-powder. The king was horrified at the inhumane idea of destroying the enemies. He was a simple and honest man who believed in peace. He wanted to know the methods to cultivate the minds and the bodies of the young English nobility and many other such things. As the king was ignorant about the attitudes of the people and had misconceptions about his people, Gulliver told him about House of Lords of Commons, about punishment for criminals, about a large army. He also narrated the financial system of his country. He told him that his country's armed forces had conquered many parts of the world. The king also discussed religion, sports and other cultural aspects of his country. It shows that he had a practical and realistic view.

The author comes across at a great philosophy of life. He comes up with an eternal truth that only with a full stomach a person's mind can function effectively. He slept well after having supper. It happened so that the three friends planned to lay the canvas first and (then) later have supper. So as per their decision, they set up their tent at the 'Picnic Point'. After that they had their (dinner) supper. Before supper, all the three friends were quarrelsome, snappy and ill-tempered. But after supper, they beamed on one another. Harris trod on George's corn. Had this happened before supper, George would have expressed wishes and desires concerning Harris fate, just like a thoughtful man does. Then, it was concluded that it is not only morality and righteousness, but also diet taken with care that results in virtue and contentment—the qualities which will reign within our heart. It is our (full) stomach that dictates our emotions and passions.

Harris was under the impression that he had an accurate map of the Hampton Court maze and he could come out quickly from it. He was confident about his skills and his map reading skills. He ventured into the maze to show the way to somebody. There he met several people who had lost their way and he assured them that he knew the way and would get them out. They followed Harris and they realized that they were simply moving around in circle around the same place. They came back to the centre again and again. It was proved that he was a bad leader. People got furious. They made a third attempt of starting from entrance. Then they shouted for the keeper. He was new so he could not guide them. He could not find Harris and the other people. After a long time, the old keeper came and rescued them from the maze. All were very angry with Harris and called him an imposter.
