Area of a semicircle = πr² /2

Area of semicircle in this figure = 22/7×4×4×1/2

= 25.14 cm²

Now,

Area of a trapezium = 1/2 ×h(sum of parallel sides)

= 1/2 ×5×(8+12)

= 10cm²

Therefore, total area of the figure =25.14cm⅔+10cm²

=35.14cm²
