Let, in x, y and z time A, B and C completed the work respectively

Then, one day work of A = 1/x, B = 1/y and C = 1/z

ATQ :

1/y + 1/z = 3/x ... (1)

1/x + 1/z = 4/y .... (2)

1/x + 1/y + 1/z = 1/24 .... (3)

On solving the equations :

From equation (1) and (3)

1/x + 3/x = 1/24

=> 4/x = 1/24

=> x = 24×4 = 96

So, A will complete the whole work in 96 days. ✔✔
