\Huge{\textbf{\textsf{\color{navy}{An}{\purple{sW}{\pink{eR}{\color{pink}{:-}}}}}}}

In the first circle, we can say that AD and CD are two tangents drawn from an outside point D .

This implies: AD=DC

DC=4 cm = AD ...(1)

Similarly, for tge second circle , two tangents are DB and DC.

DC=DB= 4cm ....(2)

Now AB = AD+DB

By (1) & (2)

AB =8 cm

Hope this helps!
