squaring the given equation

 {(x -  \frac{1}{x} )}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +   { \frac{1}{x} }^{2} -  (2)x( \frac{1}{x}) \\  =  >  {x}^{2}  +   {( \frac{1}{x}) }^{2}  - 2 = 25 \\  =  > {x}^{2}  +   {( \frac{1}{x} )}^{2}   = 27
