Answer:

a. Given,

Compound = C₆H₁₂O₆ (Glucose)

Moles = 2.5

Mass of 1 mole of glucose = (12*6)+(1*12)+(16*6) g

= 72+12+96 g

= 180 g

Mass of 2.5 moles of glucose = (180*2.5) g

= 450 g

b. Given,

Compound = H₂O (Water)

Given Mass = 54 g

Mass of 1 mole of water = (2*1)+(16) g

= 18 g

Given moles of water = (54/18)

= 3 moles

No. of molecules = Moles*Avogadro's Number

= [3*6.022]*10²³

= 18.066*10²³

c. Valency is the number of electrons that an atom gains or loses in order to get a positive or negative charge for achieving octet or duplet.

I hope this helps.
