Explanation:

1. three basic requirements must be met: it must provide connections, communications, and services.

2. Some of the different networks based on size are: Personal area network, or PAN. Local area network, or LAN. Metropolitan area network, or MAN.

3. Network architecture refers to how computers are organized in a system and how tasks are allocated between these computers. Two of the most widely used types of network architecture are peer-to-peer and client/server. Client/server architecture is also called 'tiered' because it uses multiple levels.

4. A bus topology is a topology for a Local Area Network (LAN) in which all the nodes are connected to a single cable. The cable to which the nodes connect is called a "backbone". If the backbone is broken, the entire segment fails. ... The bus topology is e.g. used by Ethernet networks.

5. Types of wireless transmission media used in communications include infrared, broadcast radio, cellular radio, microwaves, and communications satellites. As discussed earlier in the chapter, infrared (IR) is a wireless transmission medium that sends signals using infrared light waves.

Hope this helps mate.
