Truth Triumphs
One fine day when Raju went for a walk, he saw a group of people walking along with some slogans about speaking truth. He got inspired a lot and tries to implement it in his life.
During the next summer break, he broke a window of his neighboring house while playing cricket. The owner of the house questioned who did the horrible job. Raju frankly answered what actually had happened. The owner of the house scolded him a lot and charged his father the fees to repair it. He got scoldings from his father too. He was very upset. He decided to quit giving honest answers from now on.
Another day, he was caught purposely breaking their neighbour's window as a revenge. He was scolded a lot more and questioned if he was the one to break it. Every time, he said that it wasn't him. But the owner had seen him in the act. He even informed Raju's father about him lying. This time, Raju was scolded 10 times more and was told that they at first didn't believe their neighbours that he was lying.
Raju realised that his parents don't trust him anymore. He has lost their trust now and now he promised himself to always say the truth.
