380 = 2 * 19 * 2 * 5

1250 = 2 * 5 * 5 * 5 * 5

HCF of 380 & 1250 = 2 * 5 = 10

LCM of 380 & 1250 = 10 * 19 * 2 * 125 = 47500

Step-by-step explanation:

Steps to find LCM

Find the prime factorization of 380

380 = 2 × 2 × 5 × 19

Find the prime factorization of 1250

1250 = 2 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 5

Multiply each factor the greater number of times it occurs in steps i) or ii) above to find the lcm:

LCM = 2 × 2 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 19

LCM = 47500

Steps to find HCF

Find the prime factorization of 380

380 = 2 × 2 × 5 × 19

Find the prime factorization of 1250

1250 = 2 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 5

To find the gcf, multiply all the prime factors common to both numbers:

Therefore, GCF = 2 × 5

GCF = 10
