1) Margie and Tommy were taught by mechanical teachers. They had large black screens on which the lessons appeared.

2) Margie's mother sent for the County Inspector because the mechanical teacher was not functioning efficiently. Margie had been given many tests in geography by the teacher, but there was no improvement in her performance.

3) The county inspector repaired the mechanical teacher. He checked and found that the teacher was geared up a bit and told that Margie was doing just fine for her age and there's no need to worry.
