(i) Since, Work = Force × Displacement

and no displacement is achieved hence the Work Done is 0.

(ii) When running at a velocity of 4m/s

at every second he is covering a distance of 4m. Hence, Work done every sec is 4J

or 4J/s

(iii) When there is a horizon displacement therefore the work done.....

(a) Positive work done,

= Mgh = (5)(10)(2.4)

= 120J
