Step-by-step explanation:

Actually earth is not completely sphere in shape or it is not sphere in shape. It's rotation causes it to bulge at the equator. If earth is sphere in shape, using volume of sphere formula, we can it's volume. Since, it is not sphere in shape, it is some what complicated to find the volume of earth. Earth has 2 radius. I will volume for both the radius.

Given,

Diameter ( moon ) = ⅓ × Diameter ( earth )

Assume earth as sphere.

Therefore,

Radius ( moon ) = ⅓ × Radius ( earth )

In equator the radius is 6378 km.

Radius ( earth ) = 6378 km

Voume ( earth ) : -

Volume ( sphere ) = π r³

= 3.14 × 6378 × 6378 × 63789

Volume ( sphere ) = 814672755557.28 km³

Volume ( moon ) = ⅓ × Volume ( earth )

= ⅓ × 814672755557.28

Volume ( moon ) = 271557585185.76 km²

Volume ( earth ) : Volume ( moon )

= 814672755557.28 : 271557585185.76

= 3 : 1

In polar, the radius is 6357 km

Radius ( earth ) = 6357 km

Here also the ratio will be 3 : 1.
