Question :- To make green paint, A painter mixes yellow paint and blue paint in the ratio of 3:2. If he used twelve litres of yellow paint, how much blue paint did he use.

Solutions.
Given Ratio of yellow to blue =3:2.
Given yellow paint = 12 litres.
Let blue paint be x litres.

12: x = 3:2

12/ x = 3/2

12*2=3x

3x=24

x = 8 litres.

Therefore, The painter used 8 litres of blue paint.
