carbon cycle:

Photosynthesis, respiration, combustion, decomposition are some of the biotic processes that take part in the carbon cycle. Carbon is exported from a cycle in the form of CO2 which takes place via respiration of all living organisms.

oxygen cycle:

In the process of respiration oxygen is taken in by living organisms and released into the atmosphere, combined with carbon, in the form of carbon dioxide.

nitrogen cycle:

The nitrogen cycle moves nitrogen through the abiotic and biotic parts of ecosystems. ... The nitrogen gas must be changed to a form called nitrates, which plants can absorb through their roots. The process of changing nitrogen gas to nitrates is called nitrogen fixation. It is carried out by nitrogen-fixing bacteria.
