Social media is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the best way for communication between people living far away. Being the best way to spread awareness, to keep up with daily happenings, its still a cause of violence in today's society. The main reason for this is the usage of social media by teenagers or young adults or mostly kids. We've a number of such apps like Instagram, FB, TikTok, Twitter etc. This might seem as another speech regarding disadvantages of social apps. However, the message which I want to be conveyed isn't exactly that. Fake news circulate a lot on these popular sites. Recently, there was an incident of a group getting beaten just due to a fake message. People unknowingly share such things without research or whatsoever. The main cause of violence is online debates. A person may comment on others' opinion, which leads to ugly fights and cyber bullying. First of all, any certain video or picture, which isn't inteded to offend anyone, can offend millions. This causes online fights. This, then expands to cyber bullying. The person, who is the victim, gets influenced and either becomes aggressive with people nearby or extremely quiet. The strikes these days are due to social apps only. Someone might be beaten, or some violence becomes viral on these platforms. This causes people to go on a strike. Some people even tend to harm other people by throwing rocks at buses, or some other means just so they calm their anger due to some online video or judgement. Not only this, but some terrorist groups are forming a secret connection online, thereby, leaving no stone unturned for violence in a country. These things cause wars and deaths of several innocent people. Social media is fine, but not as long as it becomes a cause for violence. Therefore, the main message is that we should use these platforms carefully, try not to spread violence. If we think an opinion can offend millions, we shouldn't state it rather than writing "no hate".
