Hello,

The weight of stone is 50g
Now,
When the stone is not immersed the water is 20ml.
When immersed it is 30ml

So, we know that volume of stone is the volume of water displaced.
Now, water displaced is the rise in water level.
So, water displaced = final water level - initial water level = 30 - 20 = 10ml

Now, we have the:
Weight of stone = 50g
Volume of stone = 10 ml

Now, we know that
DENSITY = MASS/VOLUME

So, density of stone = mass of stone /volume of stone
So, density = 50/10 = 5g/ml
Now, we know that 1ml =1cm³
So,
Density of stone is 5g/cm³

Hope this will be helping you.

Solu:- FULLY EXPLAINED ANSWER
since, it is given that
mass of stone = 50g
Hence,there are two figure given in question:-
1st in which stone is not immersing
2nd in which stone is immersing than the water level rises upto (volume)30ml
so, By Archimedes principal we conclude that,
The stone is sink in the water and water level rises and it experience as byonand force or upthrust in upward direction,
water displaced = 30 – 20 = 10 ml
Then l explained full
and now calculate density of stone
Since, Density=mass/volume
mass given, volume given then we easily find the answer
Density=50/10=5g/ml
by dividing we get the answer,
since, we know that 1ml=1 cm³
Density of stone is 5g/cm³
Hence showed.
