➡️Here is your SOLUTION :-

➡️The present Population of the town = 94,500
➡️The rate with which it increases per year = 5%
➡️The population of the town a year ago = ???

So , Here According to the Question :-
➡️5/100*94,500
➡️4,725 people !

Population of the last year = 94,500 - 4,725
