Answer:

Side of square, s= 60m

Perimeter of square= 4×side

= 4(60) m

= 240 m

Length of rectangle,l = 80 m

Breadth of rectangle, b=?

Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 2(80+b) m

=160 + 2b m

Given,

perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

So, 240 = 160 + 2b

240 - 160 = 2b

2b = 80

b = 40 m

Area of square = s^2 = (60)^2

= 3600 m^2

Area of rectangle = l×b = 80 × 40

= 3200 m^2

It means area of square field is greater than the area of rectangular field.
