Answer:

Its simple.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the ratio of two circle be 2x and 3x

Radii of first circle = 2x

Radii of second circle = 3x

The area of first circle = pi* X radii square

= 22/7 X 2 X 2

= 22/7 X 4

= 88/7

The area of second circle = pi* X radii square

= 22/7 X 3 X 3

= 22/7 X 9

= 198/7

The ratio of the area of first circle and second circle = Area of first circle / Area of second circle

= 88/7 / 198/7

= 88 /7 X 7 / 198

= 8 /1 X 1/ 18

= 8/18

= 4/9

= 4:9

Therefore the ratio of the area of first circle and second circle = 4:9

Therfore ( b ) option is correct
