Here 9^(x+2) = 9^x * 9^2 ( ^ sign is used to denote power)

So, the equation becomes:

9^x * 9^2 = 720 + 9^x

Let 9^x = a

Equation becomes:

9^2 * a = 720 + a

81a = 720 + a

80a = 720

a = 9

Now,we know that a = 9^x

So, 9^x = 9^1

Bases are same hence equating the power we get

x = 1
