see you know it is hard to explain just like this by typing but i will do my best.......... first see the thing under the root.
log7 to base 3 can be written as log 7 to the base 10 divided by log3 to the base 10. Let this value be x. So we are interested in finding root of x.
using the log tables......the value log7 to the base 10 is 0.845 and the value of log3 to the base 10 is 0.477.
dividing both of them will give us the value of x as 1.7712.
hence the root of x is 1.33086.
that is the answer
