Later, author tells his friend about his desire to domesticate a pet otter. Here, author is expressing, how to move on with our life with other possibilities after a great loss.

The author's friend sends the otter, the author was very surprised to see a rare kind of otter. Here, the author speaks how it feels to experience someone different from others.

The otter takes time to get attached to the author but after 24 hours,  the otter becomes friends with the author. Here, the author speaks about the patience in relationship.

Later, the author faces many difficulties in bringing his Mijbil from Basra to London. Here, the author talks about how one should take risk in relationship.

During the flight travel, the author sees the struggle Mijbil faces when it tries to escape from his box and his naughtiness when it comes around the fight. Here, the author takes there will always be some ups and downs in any relationship.
