While walking through a forest, the poet comes across a point where the road forks into two. Both the roads are covered with fallen yellow leaves. One goes in the undergrowth as far as he can see and the other one seems to be grassy and less travelled.

while travelling through a forest he reach to a point where the road separated into two direction the poet was the lone traveller and he was not able to adopt both the roads at a same time. he looked down at both the roads as far as he could . The first road was much travelled by visitors and the second was less travelled by visitors.The poet chooses to take the second road which was used by less visitors so the poet thought that this road deserved to be travelled by him so poet kept the first road for another day though he was sure he won't b able to come back ..But by choosing the less visited road had made all the difference.It means this decision of poet not only affected the future course of poets life but also the spritual life after his death..
