2. Nadir Shah invaded India in 1738 by raiding into Northern India that was under the control of the Mughal Empire.

3. The Treaty of Purandar was signed in June 1665 between the Rajput ruler Jai Singh who represented the Mughal Empire and Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire.

4. The Maratha ruler Shivaji was known as Mountain Rat who was given this name by the last Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
