- As a reader, yes, I felt betrayed and let down by the way the story 'Black aeroplane" ends because the story ended with grand and frustrating suspense regarding the black aeroplane and its pilot. The author should have given an adequate ending to the story.
- Readers are left to make hypotheses and have to keep assuming about the black aeroplane and its pilot who supported the narrator.
- Even though It is apparent from the story that the narrator put up with the risk to meet his family. He was excited to stay with them during the holidays. He was excited to join his family at the breakfast table. But the story should have given some more strong account of why he was taking such a huge risk even after being aware of what was gonna happen or what could happen.
Hence, As a reader, yes, I felt betrayed and let down by the way the story 'Black aeroplane" ends.
