Converting the difference in degrees between the two points into minutes gives, 90 by 4 which is equal to 360 minutes. Converting the minutes into hours gives 360/60=6 hours, this is because we know that 1 hour =60 minutes,

then the time at 30 degrees west will be 12 noon subtract 6hours because it behind the prime meridian, which gives 6 am.

Thus time 30 degrees west is 6 am.
