1) The poet's tone in the poem is of anger.

2) The poet wants the wind to behave softly and peacefully, without breaking his shutters, without scattering the papers and without throwing down the books on the shelf.

3) Strong fires remain how they are because no one can break them as they are strong enough to fight with wind but when wind blows into weak fires , it starts extinguishing because it gets frightened of the wind.
