Sirajuddaula was easily defeated by Robert Clive as Robert Clive managed to bribe one of Sirajuddaula's army general, Mir Jafar. Robert Clive promised to make Mir Jafar the Nawab if the British won the battle. On the British side were The British army and Sirajuddaula's army as well.
