Sikhism is a monotheistic religion, or a religion that believes in only one God. Sikhism was started about 1500 by Guru nanak dev. The holy book of sikhism is Guru granth sahib.Guru nanak established Sangat and Pangat.

Sangat is the religious gathering where everyone recites the name of God without any distinction of caste,creed,colour or race

Pangat is eating langar by sitting together in a row without any distinction of rich or poor, caste or creed,race or colour.

Every Amritdhari Sikh has to have all five k' s on his body all the time. They are the symbols of sikhism
