• Banana peel is used as animal feed for cattle.
• Pulp of oranges after extracting their juice and the orange peel is also used for animal feed.

The spread of food from one country to another has been going on for ages. From earlier times food has been transported to other countries by traders, travellers, immigrants, etc.

• A common example of food spreading from one country to another is the spread of Tibetan Momos in Nepal and the Himalayan regions of India. Momos were brought to Nepal by Newar traders of Kathmandu who used to do trade with Tibet.
