  1. The social groups which are most vulnerable to poverty are scheduled caste and scheduled tribe. Also women, children, landless agricultural labourers, urban casual workers and other minorities  are vulnerable to poverty.
  2. It is the duty of the elected government to protect the rights of its citizens. Sometimes the government may fail to do so. Hence some rights are placed higher than the government and cannot be violated.
  3. Population distribution depends on various factors like favorable topography, availability of mineral and freshwater resources, favorable climate and soil fertility.
  4. Workers associations were formed in France, Britain and Germany to pressurize governments for the right to vote, and also for better living and working conditions.
