The harvested crop grains have more moisture content. So before we store them we need to dry them in sun to reduce moisture content. To store large capacity of grains Mechanical driers with hot blowing air are used.

• On small scale farmers store grains I just bags.
• On large scale, food grains are stored in gunny bags in granaries or in silos.
• Gunny bags are filled with dried food grains.
