first we will take a little bit of turmeric in a watch glass then we will for the acid of the solution one by one if the turmeric remains Yellow by the first solution will move on to the second if its change to reddish brown will understand that that solution was of basic nature that is Sodium Hydroxide then we have two solution left hydrochloric acid and the sugar solution.then put the two solution on the watch glass if the turmeric again changes into yellow then it is of acidic nature when it is HCL and hence we have the left one is the sugar solution
