An endangered species is a species of organisms facing a very high risk of extinction. They are living today but t heir number has decreased and may become extinct in future.Endangered species are able to reproduce and create a new generation.
Example: According to 2010 survey only 250 Bengal tigers in India. It is a endangered species and if we do not protect and reproduce it more, it will become extinct in few years.
Extinct species
Extinct species are the organisms that have become extinct either in the wild or completely.Extinction is a certainty when there are no surviving individuals that are able to reproduce and create a new generation.

Wildlife sanctuary
Wildlife sanctuary area protected for animals where animals can live in their natural habitat is known as a wildlife sanctuary. In these sanctuaries hunting, poaching, grazing, felling trees etc. are strictly prohibited. There are about 440 wildlife sanctuaries in India.
Biosphere reserve:
Biosphere reserve area which is conserved to protect the biodiversity and culture of that area is known as a biosphere reserve.
A biosphere reserve consists of many protected areas like sanctuaries, national parks, lakes mountains, etc.
There are 15 Biosphere reserves in India.
