1.Aarogyasri (Rajiv Aarogyasri) was a flagship healthcare program, introduced by Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2007, before the AP Re-organisation.

2.After split of state in 2014, in to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Aarogyasri became flagship healthcare scheme of Govt of Telangana and is administered by Aarogyasri Health Care Trust.

The latest Government of Andhra Pradesh renamed the scheme in 2019 to Dr.YSR Aarogyasri.

It covers those below the poverty line. The government issues an Aarogyasri card and the beneficiary can use it at government and private hospitals to obtain services free of cost.

Among the 412 new 108 vehicles, 104 are basic life support and 282 are advanced life support vehicles and 26 (two for each of 13 districts) neonatal ambulances. As many as 656 vehicles will be inducted into '104' service.
